Dr. John Nofsinger, Academic Consultant
John is an Associate Professor and Lang Fellow at Washington State University specializing in Institutional & Individual Investors, International Finance, Behavioral Finance, and Governance. John teaches graduate and undergraduate such as Investments, Security Evaluation, Financial Management, Portfolio Theory and Empirical Methods. John is an author of 26 publications, three textbooks and three books including The Psychology of Investing.
 
John received a Ph.D. in Finance and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University and an MBA from Chapman University. As an expert in behavioral finance, he is often quoted in the financial media, including The Wall Street Journal, Fortune, BusinessWeek, SmartMoney, Bloomberg, and CNBC, and other media from the Washington Post to Wired.com. He is also a frequent speaker at finance association conferences for analyst societies, local financial planner chapters and other professional societies.
